The Auckland Map Centre opened in October 1999 in the heart of Auckland City and has grown to become the largest specialised map, travel guide and globe retailer on New Zealand's North Island.

Now located in the National Bank Centre, our expert staff - Rochelle (manager), Bianca and Caroline - can advise on the best items from our huge range to make your journey a stress free experience. If we don't have what you want in stock, we will endeavour to source it for you. If you can't make it into the shop, we also offer a mail order service for your convenience.

Our trading hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm, Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 10am-2pm.

We stock maps and guides from around the world and local destinations. The shop also carries a variety of compasses, GPS devices, marine atlases, travel accessories, geological maps, language guides and much more. We can also frame and block mount maps to your requirements.
